Frequently Asked Questions:

In order to help answer any questions you may have, we have put together a list of frequently asked questions.  If your question is not answered below, please contact us through the link provided below and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

01

Is one application enough to kill all of the weeds in my lawn?

 â€‹

While we strive to get maximum â€‹efficiency, we will generally only get an 80% kill on weeds in a lawn.  This is due to a number of things, but the main reason is because some younger weeds will be lower than your grass, and the spray may not reach them.

02

I have pets on my lawn.  Will the chemical hurt them?  How long before my pets or children can be on the lawn?

At the rate at which we apply our chemical, it is not harmful to 99.9% of animals once dried or watered in.  We reccommend keeping your pets and children off of the lawn for 4-6 hours or until competely dry after an application.  If your pets or children do go out on the grass while it is still wet, simply rinse their feet and hands off afterwards.

03

Why do I have weeds next to my sidewalks and curbs?

Because your sidewalks and curbs will be hotter in the summer than the rest of your lawn, our preemergent will degrade faster along the edges.  Also, if you edge your sidewalks, you can disturb the protective barrier in the soil created by our preemergent.  While we can not guarantee 100% weed control, by taking the Premier Program, each application will reduce the amount of weeds in your lawn.

04

What if it rains after my lawn is sprayed?

Depending on the amount of rain and how long since the yard was sprayed, rain can effect how well our chemical works.  Generally a light sprinkle will have little to no effect, and as long as the chemical has been applied about two hours before it rains it should still kill your weeds. When it rains after we spray a lawn, we will come back to check on it, and if needed, apply an extra application for free.  Rain will not effect the preemergent or fertilizer.

05

Can you spray in flower beds?

Our chemical can kill flowers if applied directly onto them, making it very difficult to keep weeds out of flower beds.  We do not spray flower beds in which you are growing things to keep.  If you have a rock bed, which you want to keep clean, we can apply round up and preemegent for an extra fee.

06

Do you sell chemical?

Our chemicals are resticed-use, and it is illegal for us to sell raw chemical to individuals for personal use.

07

Do I need to pick up toys?

While our chemical is not harmful to humans, we do ask that you pick up any toys in the yard prior to spraying.  If toys are left out, our technicians will place them on the back porch or in an area away from the grass prior to spraying.  We will not spray ontop or your toys.

08

I called to get an esitmate.  How long will it be?

We will try to get a technician to you as soon as possible, but depending on where you are located, it may take a couple weeks.  In places like Hanston or Greensburg, we do not have technicians in town every day.  If you feel it is taking longer than expected, please call our office at 1-844-308-9693.
